This role is perfect for candidates with a 2-year Educational Support Diploma or equivalent experience in Child and Youth Care or related fields. You will contribute to creating safe and inclusive classrooms, employing Behaviour Management Systems to encourage positive behaviors. Your responsibilities include assisting students with mobility and personal care, ensuring a respectful and confidential environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Behaviour Management Systems for student support
• Assist with mobility, lifting, and personal care needs
• Create a safe and engaging learning atmosphere
• Uphold confidentiality regarding student and school information
Requirements:
• 2-year Educational Support Diploma or related experience
• Experience with students with behavioural challenges preferred
• Reliable transportation and availability for casual shifts
• Capable of physical demands of the role
• Criminal Reference Check required
