The current daily rate for this casual TTOC position ranges from $328.97 to $504.92, with placement on the grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
Terms and Conditions
: pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay) is seeking BC-certified teachers to work as Teachers Teaching On Call in the communities of Elkford and Sparwood, starting September 8, 2026. Teaching responsibilities include delivering instructional content across K-12 grades as needed.
Qualifications- BC Teacher Certification preferred.
- Must have a degree, formal training, and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
- Special consideration for teachers with formal training/experience in Learning Services at the Elementary level.
- Special consideration for teachers with formal training/experience in Secondary Math/Science/Industrial Education/French and Learning Services.
