The Nunavut Department of Education seeks an inspiring Guidance Counselor for Inuglak School. The role involves supporting student well-being and fostering relationships across the community. Key Responsibilities:

• Support student guidance on course selections and graduation

• Foster healthy relationships with students and families

• Collaborate with school staff for student success initiatives

• Engage students in local cultural and community activities

• Implement strategies for a positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree

• At least three years teaching experience

• Valid teaching certification for Nunavut

• Ability to communicate effectively in Inuktitut

• Teaching experience in a cross-cultural context
