If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic teaching team in a growing school, then we invite you to consider this position. We are seeking to appoint a Secondary Mathematics Teacher. Teachers with the capacity to also teach in another learning area will be highly regarded. Applicants must have the credentials and experience to teach in Western Australia.

This full-time position commences in Term 1 2027.

This is a full time position, with the potential for a suitably qualified candidate to take on an immediate or future leadership responsibility.

The successful candidate will hold the following core responsibilities

The successful candidates will implement a pedagogical framework and foster a classroom environment based on the following principles:

• Evidence-Based Instruction: Base teaching strategies on the Science of Learning and the underpinning Cognitive Load Theory, utilising daily reviews and retrieval practices to ensure knowledge retention.
• Responsive & Data-Informed Teaching: Regularly check for understanding, provide quality feedback, and use data to design rich learning tasks that stretch student thinking.
• Positive Tone:
  Create an appealing, safe, engaging and inclusive classroom space.
• Clear Routines:
  Establish and maintain structures and routines so every student clearly understands expectations, while also having fun!
