The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board is in search of a dedicated Long-Term Occasional Teacher, effective immediately through June 30, 2027. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills while promoting teamwork in the classroom. While OCT-certified teachers are given first consideration, applicants with relevant educational backgrounds are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging instructional activities based on curriculum

• Cultivate an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for students

• Collaborate with teachers to develop comprehensive lesson plans

• Maintain effective communication with parents and school staff

• Demonstrate adaptability to meet the varied needs of learners

Requirements:

• OCT certification preferred for Primary, Junior, Intermediate divisions

• Special Education Part 1 certification is beneficial

• Open to non-certified candidates with previous teaching experience

• Bachelor’s degree or progress towards BEd required for non-certified applicants

• Strong communicating and collaborative skills essential
