Position: Full-Time Educational Assistant Position

This temporary position is 30 hours per week under the supervision of a certified teacher. The ideal candidate possesses a High School Diploma and ideally an Educational Assistant Diploma, along with experience in a classroom setting. Candidates should be ready to assist with physical tasks and personal care, contributing positively to the educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the certificated teacher in daily classroom activities

• Support students' learning needs and personal care requirements

• Facilitate a positive and collaborative learning environment

• Work as part of a team to achieve educational goals

• Attend meetings and trainings as necessary

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Educational Assistant Diploma preferred

• CPR/First Aid certification considered an asset

• Experience working with children preferred

• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist outside school hours
