Position: Maymont School Full-Time Educational Assistant

Living Sky School Division is seeking a Full-Time Educational Assistant for Maymont Central School. Engage students effectively, fostering their learning journeys with personal and academic support.

This educational role is temporary, commencing October 1, 2026, and closing on June 28, 2027. You will help students with intensive needs by providing necessary personal care, promoting academic success, and facilitating communication. Your mission will be to encourage learning and growth in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with personal care requirements

• Offer support in academic tasks and behavior management

• Promote life skills and enhance communication abilities

• Collaborate closely with educators on student needs

• Model empathy and enthusiasm in all interactions

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 with one year of childcare experience

• Relevant post-secondary education is an asset

• Strong planning and organizational skills

• Effective communication proficiency

• Team-oriented with a passion for working with children
