Location: Rexton
We are hiring an Educational Assistant at Rexton Elementary to support teachers and exceptional students in their daily activities. Work 6 hours each day in a collaborative environment.
This permanent position is open for the school year, ideal for individuals who thrive in educational settings. Responsibilities include assisting teachers in classrooms, helping prepare learning materials, and providing necessary support for students facing challenges. You'll be central to creating an effective and nurturing educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in teaching and support student learning goals
• Tutor individual and small groups of students
• Prepare and organize educational materials for the classroom
• Maintain records and aid in student monitoring
• Provide personal care support for students as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of high school and related training
• Proven experience in child care or education is a must
• Strong English communication skills
• Collaborative attitude and effective teamwork
• Specialized training for unique student needs may be needed
