Position: Casual Early Childhood Educator with SD60
Location: Northern British Columbia (Fort Nelson)

Embrace a fulfilling casual role as an Early Childhood Educator with School District No. 60, engaging with children aged 0-5 across varied programs. Develop and facilitate nurturing learning environments.

In collaboration with the District Principal Early Learning & Child Care, you'll help implement essential programs like Strong Start and preschool.

Your role will involve planning activities, ensuring safety, and fostering connections between families and community services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create interactive environments for preschool children

• Develop and offer open-ended educational activities

• Uphold safety and quality standards at all times

• Engage families by sharing insights about child development

• Maintain program equipment and cleanliness standards

Requirements:

• Completion of grade 12 or equivalent

• At least 4 months of experience working with children

• ECE Diploma or current Assistant Certificate in progress

• Valid driver's license for outreach program participation

• Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Search
