commencing as soon as possible. The assignment involves working from 11:20 am to 3:20 pm Monday to Friday and includes assisting in implementing the effective day to day operations of the program, ensuring appropriate supervision, smooth transitions, and consistent routines.

is located in the community of Iron River with approximately 95 students in Preschool to grade 8. • Level 1, 2 or 3 Early Child Care Certificate First Aid Certification
• Knowledge and experience working in an early childhood or school-aged care setting
• Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Extensive understanding of child development theories and best practices
• Working knowledge of Alberta Childcare Licensing Regulations
• Familiarity with NLPS program philosophies, policies, and operational procedures
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities

• Upholding the program's philosophy, policies, and procedures in all daily practices
• Maintaining confidentiality in all matters involving children, students, families and staff
• Supporting the development and implementation of a developmentally appropriate program for young children and students
• Ensuring all children and students are supervised at all times and accounted for during transitions and activities
