Shape young minds as a Part-Time Educator at the YMCA in Minesing. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages play-based learning and personal development.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator for our Before & After School Program. You will engage with children in a safe environment, implementing child-centered activities aligned with our curriculum.
Your role includes personal care, such as administering first aid and medications, while actively communicating with families and volunteers to support each child’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor children's safety and personal needs
• Implement engaging play-based learning activities
• Build professional relationships with families
• Support children with exceptional behaviors inclusively
• Demonstrate flexibility with schedules and routines
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 18 years
• First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• Educational background in early childhood or related fields
• Ability to lift and work outdoors regularly
