The NNDSB is seeking a Grade 3/4 Teacher for an immediate to early return LTO position. This role focuses on literacy, numeracy, and technology integration in teaching.
Ideal candidates will possess a valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate along with Primary/Junior Qualifications.
Experience with Apple software and mobile devices is essential, along with a deep understanding of the Ministry Curriculum. The position particularly emphasizes supporting at-risk students and effectively communicating with a school team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons for Grade 3/4 students
• Support literacy and numeracy initiatives school-wide
• Use Apple devices to enhance student learning
• Document and evaluate student work with integrated technology
• Collaborate with staff to improve educational outcomes
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
• Primary/Junior teaching qualifications
• Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum documents
• Experienced with EDSBY for communication
• Ability to support varied learners effectively
