Position: Senior Educator for STEAM Programs
Location: Peterborough County and North Hastings County (Lakefield)

Become a key contributor at Ampere as a Senior Educator focusing on STEAM programs in Kawartha Lakes, ON. Lead engaging, community-centered learning experiences that empower learners of all ages.

In this full-time permanent role, you'll collaborate with the Southern Canada Youth Team to deliver play-based STEAM education, primarily within the City of Kawartha Lakes. Your responsibilities include designing effective learning resources and fostering positive relationships with community partners to ensure accessible programming that meets local needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with community partners to identify programming needs

• Develop engaging learning resources like tutorials and activity plans

• Deliver play-based STEAM and digital skills programming

• Build long-term relationships within the community

• Support program evaluation and improvements

Requirements:

• Experience in educational programming for diverse learners

• Completed degree or relevant field experience

• Classroom teaching or instructional experience

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Basic First Aid certification is an asset
