Position: Temporary 1.0 FTE Teacher
Location: North Central Island and Bute Inlet Region (Gold River)

TEMPORARY 1.0 FTE TEACHER REQUIRED

GOLD RIVER SECONDARY SCHOOL

Effective Immediately to November 5, 2026 or the return of the Incumbent.

Teaching assignment may include, but may not be limited to :

PHE, plus other junior courses like math, science and electives.

The successful candidate will be :

willing and flexible to teach other subjects and in an outdoor setting as required;

be physically capable to perform the duties of the position.

Essential Qualifications :

Valid BC Certification with the TRB, with qualifications and experience at the secondary level with a major in Science and/or Math and training and/or experience in current methodologies and strategies applicable to high school Science, Math, PHE and electives. Recent experience teaching BC Curriculum Grades 8 to 12 Math and/or Science and PHE
