French Language Programming Assistant

Enhance your skills at McGill University as a French Programming Assistant. Facilitate peer-led language learning and community engagement through various cultural activities.

This part-time role under the Campus Life & Engagement unit is for students applying their French skills while connecting with others on campus. You will develop and coordinate French-language programming, engaging participants through volunteer placements and community events. Your efforts will help promote social connections and enhance the student experience in Montreal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop French programming aligned with student needs

• Facilitate events to encourage language practice

• Partner with organizations for community activities

• Promote events through collaboration and outreach

• Track participation and report on results

Requirements:

• Full-time student enrolled at McGill University

• Proficient in French, both spoken and written

• Group facilitation experience preferred

• Knowledge of education or tutoring an asset

• Strong communication skills in English and French
