Location: Rutherford
Join McGill University's Department of Physics as a Teaching Assistant for Winter 2027. Engage with students and support courses like Electromagnetism and Astrobiology through tutorials and grading.
We are looking for skilled Teaching Assistants to support various physics courses s role prioritizes students registered in graduate physics programs, providing a platform to deepen understanding and teaching skills. TAs will grade assignments, hold tutorials, and supervise lab sessions while collaborating closely with instructors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Grade assignments and exams fairly and efficiently
• Conduct tutorials and offer office hours for students
• Supervise laboratory sessions to enhance hands-on learning
• Attend lectures and support course delivery
• Assist instructors in course development activities
Requirements:
• Enrollment in a graduate program at McGill University
• Prior study in relevant physics subjects
• Strong teaching and communication skills
• Availability from January 5 to April 19, 2027
