Educational Assistant Student Support

Location: Grafton

Support student learning and personal care as an Educational Assistant in a 35-hour-per-week long-term assignment. Apply instructional and behavioural strategies.
This Educational Assistant role supports access to instructional programs and student participation. You will assist with instructional materials, therapeutic programs, supervision, and progress tracking. The assignment also includes personal care, medication administration, and Individual Education Plans as directed.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with developing and tracking instructional programs
Prepare instructional materials and equipment as directed
Provide hygienic and personal care to students
Administer medication under applicable Board policies
Support therapy, behaviour, training, and student activities
Requirements:
O.S.S.D. and two years of specialized training
Knowledge of strategies supporting students
Knowledge of pertinent Board policies and directives
Ability to operate computers, Google Suite, and equipment
Ability to lift and position students
Bring instructional support, personal care, medication administration, and behavioural program experience to this Educational Assistant assignment.
