Position: Northland Solar Facility Technician Role
Location: Quinte Shores, East Northumberland County & Prince Edward County (Picton)

Join Northland as a Solar Facility Technician in Belleville North and drive the future of renewable energy. This full-time position involves hands-on maintenance and operations of solar sites.

In this role, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of solar facilities like Belleville South and Burks Falls. Your duties will include troubleshooting, maintenance, and adhering to environmental and safety standards. As a collaborative problem solver, you will manage contractors and contribute to fostering a strong team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe operation of assigned solar sites

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs at multiple locations

• Take part in on-call support for continuous operations

• Manage contractor activities for site maintenance

• Uphold safety standards and procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Completed High School Diploma or equivalent

• Journeyman Electrician certification in progress or completed

• Experience with preventative maintenance on solar equipment

• Ability to use SCADA systems and related tools

• Valid class G driver's license and First Aid & CPR Certified
