Join the Hand Hills Wind Facility as a Wind Technician, where your expertise in turbine maintenance and repair will ensure operational excellence on-site in Special Area 2, Alberta. You’ll perform critical maintenance, trouble-shoot, and improve turbine efficiency daily.

As a full-time Wind Technician, your responsibilities will include performing scheduled and unscheduled turbine maintenance. You will be involved in troubleshooting, repairing mechanical components, and operating within a zero-incidents safety culture. Your technical skills will directly contribute to achieving over 98% turbine availability while fostering respectful relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled wind turbine maintenance

• Troubleshoot and repair turbine subassemblies and components

• Operate company property and equipment safely

• Maintain detailed work orders and timecards

• Uphold all safety and environmental policies

Requirements:

• Wind Turbine Technician certificate or equivalent

• Minimum two years of wind power experience preferred

• Familiarity with electrical and hydraulic schematics

• Valid driver’s license for travel

• Physically capable of lifting 50lbs
