Energy Utility Operator in Peace Valley

Elevate your career in energy utility at our onsite facility in Peace Valley. As an Energy Utility Operator, maximize OSB production safely while supporting the Energy System's operations under expert guidance.

This role offers  the chance to gain hands-on experience in energy management and equipment maintenance. You will assist with equipment isolation and monitoring, maintain safety standards, and keep production areas organized. The position values proactive input on safety and efficiency improvements within the Energy, Drying, and WESP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform minor maintenance tasks on equipment

• Assist with lockout and equipment isolation procedures

• Maintain cleanliness of Energy and Drying systems

• Accurately log reports and document system performance

• Support the Energy Operator as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ industrial experience preferred

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required

• 4th class power engineering certification needed

• Strong problem-solving and time management skills

• Willingness to train and work flexible shifts
