Position: Technician 3 for Renewable Energy Projects

EDF Power Solutions is hiring a Technician 3 in Tiverton, Ontario, focusing on advanced maintenance of renewable energy generators. Elevate your career while contributing to environmental sustainability.

In this onsite role, you will lead corrective maintenance for utility-scale solar and wind systems, leveraging your expertise in electrical and mechanical components. Your leadership will guide lower-level technicians and your work will directly influence system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance tasks on renewable energy systems without supervision

• Document all maintenance actions and complete service orders

• Lead training for junior technicians on maintenance best practices

• Perform system evaluations and troubleshooting

• Engage in continuous improvement projects with engineering teams

Requirements:

• 2 years minimum experience in renewable energy roles

• Valid driver's license required

• Proficient in using diagnostic and monitoring tools

• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics

• Strong communication skills for training purposes
