Position: Electrical Generation Technician for Renewables
Location: Central Northwest Territories (Inuvik)

This position involves hands-on technical work with various electrical systems, including diesel, wind, and solar. You will perform repairs, operational checks, and supervise fieldwork while adhering to the Canadian Electrical Code. Regular interaction with OEM ensures quality maintenance of turbines and other equipment, demanding a proactive approach to renewable technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical equipment

• Coordinate repair work with OEM for wind turbines

• Inspect and service solar and battery energy systems

• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations

• Document work performed and provide technical reports

Requirements:

• Electrical Technologist certification, 5 years experience required

• Experience in troubleshooting complex electrical systems

• Proficiency in PLC programming and SCADA systems

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Full Class 5 driver's license and successful background check
