Field Operations Inspector in Oil & Gas

This full-time permanent role at AER focuses on regulatory compliance within the oil and gas sector. You will lead complex inspections, resolve stakeholder complaints, and support provincial initiatives. Your expertise in thermal production and environmental stewardship will be vital for ensuring compliance and promoting best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct complex inspections and prepare related reports

• Respond to the 24-hour emergency complaint line

• Develop and implement proactive inspection programs

• Communicate concerns and lead industry meetings

• Train and mentor staff as required

Requirements:

• Diploma in engineering or environmental sciences

• 6+ years in regulatory or field operations

• Strong understanding of thermal production operations

• Experience with enhanced oil recovery projects

• Valid driver's license and positive driving record
