Contract Operator in Refinery Operations

The refinery operation in Aldersyde is currently hiring experienced operators for a 2-3 month contract. Ideal candidates should have a solid history in refinery, hydrogen, or process plant operations. Shift work consists of 12-hour periods on a rotating 4 days on, 4 days off schedule, ensuring a focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate refinery process equipment

• Monitor and detect abnormal plant conditions

• Carry out routine inspections and operating rounds

• Complete shift documentation and operational reports

• Support safe startup, shutdown, and operation activities

Requirements:

• Class 2 Power Engineer preferred;
Class 3 acceptable

• Previous experience in a refinery or process plant

• Strong commitment to safety and excellence

• Effective troubleshooting and communication skills

• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and safety certifications
