In your role, you will report to the Engineer of the Watch, focusing on maintaining and operating critical machinery aboard the vessels. Key tasks include performing inspections, adhering to pollution regulations, and ensuring proper documentation. Your contributions will foster a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct machinery maintenance and overhauls as assigned

• Monitor engine operations during assigned watches

• Update logs and maintenance records regularly

• Contribute to pollution control and safety measures

• Lead and supervise Oilers effectively

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Certificate of Competency as a 4th Class Engineer

• Possess a valid Seafarers Medical Certificate

• Demonstrate knowledge of operational procedures and SMS

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Proven record of safety in maritime operations
