Metrology Technician

Dynatherm Instrumentation is a growing young company operating in the field of instrumentation and control. We offer metrology services, engineering, and the manufacturing of temperature probes and instrumentation for turbo machinery. The metrology technician will work with other technicians to ensure the proper functioning of client equipment.

• College degree (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in industrial electronics or other relevant qualifications
• Have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in instrumentation, calibration service, or a similar role
• Experience in tolerance definition and validation
• Experience with calibration and/or communication equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office software
• Knowledge of Met/Team and Met/Cal software (asset)
• Have a valid driver’s license in Quebec
• Fluent in both French and English, spoken and written
• Be a Canadian citizen or authorized to work in Canada

• Apply calibration methods and uncertainties for measurement instruments, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.
• Validate measurement processes across a wide range of test and measurement systems (electrical, torque, pressure, temperature, dimensional, etc.) in the aerospace field.
• Perform calibration and measurement services at our clients’ sites and at our laboratories and recommend changes to calibration procedures to improve services.
• Follow procedures of our ISO-17025 quality system.
• Develop your expertise to provide advice and technical consultations to other technicians and clients.

• Full-time (40 hours per week), day shift from Monday to Friday

• 29.00$ to 45.00$ per hour, based on experience
• Group insurance after 3 months of service
