Position: Mechanical Engineer for Device Development

Ascend PM is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for a contract role in West Dublin, within a leading pharmaceutical company. Focus on developing complex medical devices with a talented engineering team.

This role within the Global Dublin Device Engineering team requires over 3 years of experience in a regulated setting. The Mechanical Engineer will be pivotal in leading product development efforts, designing both electro-mechanical components and single-use plastic parts. Strong Solid Works skills and a collaborative approach are essential for driving innovative engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product development and engineering activities

• Design and develop components and assemblies

• Create, implement, and evaluate test plans

• Participate in technical reviews and share insights

• Construct prototypes and document testing outcomes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in engineering

• Relevant BS or MS degree required

• Experience with rapid prototyping methods

• Proficient in Solid Works is a must

• Strong MS Office skills required
