CNOOC International seeks a skilled Instrumentation Control Technologist for a 12-month contractor position. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering and has over five years of relevant experience. You'll address technical challenges, develop engineering work packages, and support multidisciplinary teams to maintain and enhance system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot instrumentation and control tasks for operations

• Develop Engineering Work Packages for related MOCs

• Review engineering backlogs and provide practical solutions

• Prepare specifications, calculations, and wiring diagrams

• Support design, construction, and commissioning phases

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or related field

• P.Eng., P.L.(Eng.), or C.E.T. designation

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil sands projects

• Strong knowledge of industry standards and DCS/PLC systems

• Proficient with SAP maintenance systems
