Position: Project Engineer for Vehicle Electronics

Elevate your career as a Project Engineer in the Vehicle Electronics team at General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada, focusing on the M1A1 vehicle program. You'll collaborate with OEMs to mitigate obsolescence risks and enhance system performance.

In this role, you'll provide engineering analysis and manage component replacements to minimize manufacturing impacts while ensuring smooth project execution. Your expertise will play a critical role in interfacing with OEMs and evaluating alternative components. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will maintain detailed obsolescence documentation and prepare insightful reports on risks and mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engineering analyses for component replacements

• Monitor obsolescence activities with OEMs

• Produce and manage BOMs and part lists

• Develop test plans and prepare technical reports

• Investigate product issues and initiate changes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• 3+ years in product and design environments

• Proficiency in MS Suite applications

• Knowledge of DFMA and electronics manufacturing processes

• Ability to travel within Canada and engage with stakeholders
