Onsite Manufacturing Engineer at Komatsu

Location: Algoma, Sudbury District and Greater Sudbury (Chelmsford)

In the Manufacturing Engineer role, you will develop manufacturing processes under supervision and coordinate activities with suppliers. This entry-level position is a vital support function for the production and engineering teams, focused on creating documentation, facilitating safety protocols, and implementing new production technologies. You will actively participate in product development alongside multi-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with EHS to promote safety initiatives

• Assist in new production line design and implementation

• Maintain work instructions for assembly and testing

• Engage with suppliers for process development

• Support tooling and capital acquisition analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering

• Experience or internships in relevant fields

• Knowledge of 3D CAD tools like Solid Works

• Understanding of manufacturing processes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
