Position: MEP Plans Examiner for Compliance and Code Review
Location: Fort Simpson

Exciting opportunity for a skilled MEP Plans Examiner to ensure compliance with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes. Join a dynamic team and tackle diverse projects while providing essential technical direction.

As an MEP Plans Examiner, you will utilize your expertise to review plans for commercial and residential projects. You will provide technical support to inspection staff and collaborate directly with municipal clients, addressing concerns from various stakeholders. Your extensive knowledge of California codes and construction technology will be vital in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review plans for compliance with relevant codes

• Attend preconstruction meetings with contractors

• Provide technical assistance to inspections

• Resolve client and contractor concerns

• Interact with municipal staff regularly

Requirements:

• CA Professional Engineer license required

• 5+ years in MEP plan review experience

• Preferred ICC Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing certifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects
