Position: MT-02/MT-03 Meteorologist Roles Nationwide

The Meteorological Service of Canada is looking for candidates with 2 to 3 years of operational meteorology experience. Successful applicants will analyze data, generate forecasts, and work collaboratively across various locations in Canada. The position also includes shift work and requires adaptability and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose meteorological patterns and trends

• Create accurate weather forecasts for various regions

• Collaborate effectively in prediction centres

• Participate in shift work and continuous training

• Uphold a meticulous focus on client interactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in meteorology or similar field

• Two years of relevant operational experience for MT-02, three for MT-03

• Fluent in English;
French required in specified areas

• Solid knowledge of meteorological theories

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
