Do you want to take an active part in delivering a large-scale wind farm project? As an electrical construction intern, you will support the team responsible for high- and medium-voltage electrical installations connecting the wind turbines to the substation and the grid. This internship will allow you to develop a solid understanding of real-world electrical work and the specific challenges of renewable energy projects.
This role is performed on site, full-time. We have several construction sites across Québec. The position therefore requires high geographic mobility, as well as availability to work on a rotation basis depending on project needs. To facilitate mobility, individuals living more than 120 km from the site will be mobilized on location and may benefit from advantages in accordance with company policies.
Responsibilities
Actively participate in project management
Assist site engineers and the management team in their daily tasks
Inspect the work and ensure compliance with the company’s quality plan
Perform production tracking
Coordinate subcontractors
Carry out technical follow-ups on communications
Qualifications
Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Have completed at least one internship
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Fluency in French (spoken and written) and intermediate English proficiency, spoken and written, to interact with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, partners, and colleagues nationwide
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Possess an ASP Construction safety card
High geographic mobility — the selected intern must be available full-time on site
Versatile, rigorous, and motivated to be actively involved on a construction site
Benefits
Hands‑on field experience that gives you real exposure to the industry
Mentorship from experienced professionals
Access to industry-standard tools and systems
Opportunities to grow into roles such as Project Coordinator or Field Engineer
Many interns receive a permanent position after graduation
