Position: Operator Trainer at MacLean Engineering
Location: Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

Join Mac Lean Engineering as an Operator Trainer in Sudbury, ON, focusing on hands-on and classroom training for mine site operators. Elevate operational standards by developing training materials and resolving equipment issues.

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive commissioning and training for operators, ensuring they are equipped with the skills to maximize equipment efficiency. You will also collaborate with the Sales and Field Service groups to address field issues while maintaining up-to-date training documentation. This position requires travel, and you will work closely with technical teams to develop solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on and classroom training for mine operators

• Develop operational training materials like manuals and tests

• Maintain training records for all conducted training sessions

• Communicate field issues to Sales and Field Service groups

• Provide input on equipment efficiency for product development

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in mobile equipment design

• Minimum 3 years experience with heavy drilling equipment

• Experience with underground mobile equipment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical software

• Strong communication skills, bilingualism an asset
