In this role reporting to the Manager of IT Ontario Operations, you ll deliver technical expertise in robust network infrastructures, focusing on operational technology and strategic project support. Your contributions will directly enhance our mining operations and promote Agnico Eagle s core values in health and safety and environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities   Implement private LTE/5G and industrial Ethernet networks
Support global telecommunication system upgrades
Perform RF design and site surveys at mine sites
Collaborate on industrial network strategies
Handle operational issues and monitor network capacity
Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications or RF engineering
Extensive knowledge in LTE, 5G, and industrial wireless
Excellent technical troubleshooting capabilities
Experience in mining or industrial settings is an asset
Flexibility to travel regionally in Ontario
