Position: Quality Assurance Engineer for Highway Maintenance
Location: Northwestern Alberta (High Level)

Enhance highway maintenance quality at LaPrairie Works Inc. as a Quality Program Engineer. This role targets Civil Engineers with proven QA/QC experience in heavy civil construction.

LaPrairie Works is searching for a Quality Program Engineer to implement ISO
9001:2015 compliant processes for highway maintenance operations in Alberta’s Peace Region. You will engage actively in audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks to establish the highest quality standards across projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA/QC processes for maintenance

• Conduct inspections and performance evaluations

• Review operational processes for regulatory compliance

• Serve as the primary contact for external quality audits

• Ensure that quality-related findings are communicated effectively

Requirements:

• Civil Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible for APEGA registration

• Over 5 years in QA/QC for highway maintenance or construction

• Familiarity with ISO
9001:2015 Quality Management Systems

• Expertise in compliance with government contracts

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
