Position: Engineering Student for Field Projects

Join the engineering field as a student intern focused on construction-related tasks. Your responsibilities will include project planning assistance, progress monitoring, and effective communication with trades staff.

This position is ideal for individuals pursuing degrees in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering who are motivated to gain experience in a construction environment. Duties include attending project meetings, assisting with safety inspections, and resolving technical field issues. You will foster teamwork and ensure project documentation standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with project planning and scheduling

• Participate in project meetings for updates and coordination

• Review and analyze engineering drawings

• Conduct field safety inspections and promote safety awareness

• Maintain project records and documentation

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering

• Field construction experience is a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus

• Self-motivated individual with diverse interests

• Must provide CSA approved steel toed work boots
