What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Support customers by providing technical expertise and value-added blasting solutions.

  • Conduct customer site visits and provide technical support to ensure the safe and effective application of blasting products and services.

  • Assess blasting practices and provide recommendations to optimize blast performance, safety, and productivity.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs and operational challenges.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.

  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, pricing proposals, and commercial agreements.

  • Monitor and track blast performance metrics to support continuous improvement.

  • Support implementation of new technologies, products, and operational initiatives.

  • Assist with inventory management and product coordination.

  • Promote Dyno Nobel's safety culture and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.

  • Promote and support the use of proactive safety tools and initiatives to strengthen personal and operational safety.

  • Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and industry events.

    What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of experience in the explosives, quarry and construction, mining, or related industries is preferred.

  • Post-secondary education in engineering, geology, mining, or a related discipline is considered an asset.

  • Strong relationship building and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate blasting solutions.

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office

  • Willingness to travel throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
