Co-op Engineering Specialist at General Dynamics

Location: Carmacks

Pursue hands-on experience in aviation with General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada as a Co-op Engineering and Project Management Specialist. Contribute to data management, logistics, and technical documentation in defense projects.

This four-month intern role is perfect for students enrolled in avionics or engineering programs. You will support aircraft technical data management, logistics activities, and lifecycle sustainment for complex defense programs. Engage with internal teams and government partners, while developing key skills in data integrity and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage aircraft technical data and configuration records

• Assist in data control for PMEs and training devices

• Contribute to lifecycle support and materiel management

• Coordinate with teams and stakeholders in meetings

• Prepare technical documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Enrolled in an avionics diploma or engineering program

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and in teams

• Effective communication skills

• Enthusiastic about learning and responsibility
