Senior Geotechnical Technical Director

Location: Saint-Laurent-d'Orléans

Take the lead in geotechnical engineering as a Senior Technical Director. Engage in impactful investigations and design projects collaboratively while mentoring the next generation of engineers.

This role, situated in Quebec, involves participating in critical geotechnical studies and acting as a technical reviewer for pivotal infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing risks associated with these projects and implementing engineering standards while advancing the geotechnical discipline through coaching and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough geotechnical investigations and studies

• Assess and manage risks related to projects

• Set and uphold engineering standards and practices

• Mentor staff and foster professional development

• Participate actively in service proposal activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or geological engineering

• At least 15 years of experience in relevant fields

• Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec

• Proficiency in French writing;
English knowledge required

• Experience in the mining sector is a plus
