Support BMT's engineering endeavors as a Senior Marine Systems Engineer in Halifax, NS, or Victoria, BC. Utilize your significant expertise in marine and mechanical systems to deliver innovative solutions.

This permanent, full-time role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in marine systems engineering. You will be responsible for the technical management of projects and ensuring compliance with relevant marine standards while collaborating with shipyards and other stakeholders. Your ability to mentor and enhance team capabilities is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee technical work and manage project initiatives

• Ensure compliance with quality management standards

• Collaborate with shipyards and OEMs for engineering tasks

• Maintain technical competency across marine systems

• Mentor junior engineers in their development

Requirements:

• Mechanical or Marine Systems Engineering degree

• At least 10+ years of industry experience

• Eligibility for Professional Engineering registration

• Canadian security clearance eligibility

• In-depth knowledge of naval systems operation
