AltaGas Panel Control Operator

Position: AltaGas Panel Control Operator Role
Location: Omineca and Yellowhead (Smithers)

Become a vital component of Alta Gas as a Panel Control Operator, focused on effective pooling of resources in the REEF Terminal Operations. Your expertise will support safety and operational readiness while managing gas flow.

In this role, you will lead the operation of the DeltaV DCS system and ensure that all operational activities adhere to Alta Gas’’ Core Values. Your previous experience in facility startups will be crucial as you work both in the control room and at the field level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion personal safety aligning with EHS Program

• Develop lock-out/tag-out packages for operations

• Support training program improvement initiatives

• Operate CCTV to ensure facility safety

• Conduct equipment maintenance and order entries in Maximo

Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED

• 5+ years of relevant terminal operations experience

• 2+ years in control room operations

• Valid 4th Class Power Engineering certification

• Exceptional organizational and collaborative skills
