Position: Site HSSE Advisor - TA Support
Location: Northeastern Alberta (Fort Chipewyan)

Our Asset Integrity Management Team in Fort McMurray, AB is kicking off our recruitment efforts for Site HSSE Advisors for the 2026 Fall Turnaround, with an expected timeline of September – October 2026.
What will you be doing?
Ensuring all HSSE requirements of the Project HSSE Plan are being met
Assisting with HSSE orientations for all company Turnaround personnel
Coordinating personal protective equipment for field personnel
Completing daily field safety audits, providing feedback to personnel, and completing documentation
Managing company incident management, reporting and investigations
Assisting with tracking of leading and lagging HSSE indicators for monthly reports
We think you should have:
Post‑secondary degree or diploma in an HSSE‑related discipline and/or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a site‑based HSSE advisor
Current certifications, or be willing to complete at own expense, for all mandatory safety training and meet qualifications required for site access, including Drug and Alcohol Screening
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Candidates local to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo/Fort McMurray are preferred
