Geospectrum is looking for a qualified System Safety Engineer to enhance its safety initiatives. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring product safety and reliability across embedded systems.

In this key role, you will support the Manager of Systems Engineering while working on mitigating risks in complex environments. With proven experience in system safety principles, particularly MIL-STD-882E, you'll create and refine essential documentation to align with both customer needs and industry standards. This role significantly influences safety performance across numerous high-stakes projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop System Safety Program Plans and Safety Assessment Reports

• Lead safety working groups focused on system safety strategies

• Engage in design reviews and safety-focused presentations

• Assess products against environmental regulations like REACH

• Liaise with systems engineering to define Safety Functional Requirements

Requirements:

• BS in Engineering, Safety, or related field

• 5+ years in system safety engineering roles

• Understanding of hazard analysis and risk mitigation

• Familiarity with safety-critical systems in relevant sectors

• Strong communication skills for presenting safety concepts
