Experienced Structural Engineer Position

Location: Hants County (Shubenacadie)

This role involves overseeing diverse projects with general supervision. You’ll evaluate and specify structural systems, create detailed designs, and utilize advanced engineering tools, including BIM and proprietary software. Key responsibilities include leading project meetings, managing documentation, and conducting quality assurance for projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and engineer structural systems for projects

• Develop designs using sketches and electronic models

• Utilize BIM for creating 3D structural models

• Prepare site plans, floor plans, and detailed documentation

• Conduct project coordination and client requirement meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
Licensed Professional Engineer

• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience

• Strong knowledge of building codes and structural design standards

• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite

• Advanced communication and project management skills
