Nutrien is looking for an Environmental Engineer III to contribute to its mission of Feeding the Future. This role involves ensuring that all site operations comply with provincial and federal regulations while managing various environmental programs. You'll also oversee project management efforts, collaborating with contractors, and maintaining timelines for sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with site’s Approval to Operate

• Coordinate environmental programs such as Tailings Management

• Compile and submit environmental reports consistently

• Drive initiatives for water, energy, and waste reduction

• Conduct environmental inspections and spill investigations

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering required

• Must be APEGS registered or equivalent

• Preferred experience in environmental management of mine sites

• Strong safety commitment and program participation

• Excellent communication skills to engage all departments
