Electrical CAD Designer at GeoSpectrum

Location: Hants County (Shubenacadie)

Join Geo Spectrum in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia as an Electrical CAD Designer, focusing on underwater acoustic systems and detailed electrical drawings. Utilize your engineering expertise in a collaborative environment.

In this onsite role, you will report to the Director of Advanced Development and contribute to project success through the creation of electrical drawings and support for electronic components. Applicants should possess strong technical skills and a commitment to quality, alongside a genuine interest in continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical drawings, wire runs, and circuit designs

• Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)

• Draft clear schematics for electrical components

• Support testing of electronic components and sub-assemblies

• Collaborate with the project team for timely project completion

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering Technology or related field

• Minimum two years of relevant experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and Solid Works

• Strong skills in reading engineering documentation

• Effective teamwork and communication abilities
