Mechanical Design Engineer at Westinghouse

Location: Renfrew County and Lanark Highlands Township (Deep River)

In this Mechanical Design Engineering position, you will directly impact traditional and future nuclear developments. Key responsibilities include creating 3D models, developing custom equipment, and ensuring compliance with design specifications. You will support the entire design evolution from prototype to finished product while collaborating across Westinghouse's engineering framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed manufacturing drawings and bills of materials

• Assemble and test custom equipment from prototype to final product

• Create test procedures to meet design specifications

• Perform hand calculations and FEA to validate designs

• Prepare concise design reports and technical specifications

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering

• 0 to 2 years relevant experience; new graduates welcomed

• Knowledge of 3D CAD systems and manufacturing techniques

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Teamwork experience in engineering settings
