Location: Peterborough County and North Hastings County (Lakefield)

This Senior Engineering Technician position oversees planning approvals and prepares master drainage plans, requiring a robust background in engineering. Candidates should have a minimum of five years' experience in areas such as road design and water/sanitation infrastructure. You will work closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure project success and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the City’s Water/Wastewater Division for system models

• Assist in capital and project budget management

• Maintain project financial records and documentation

• Conduct engineering inspections and oversee contractors

• Identify and implement engineering best practices

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering

• Five years progressive engineering experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software

• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills

• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence
