Alamos Gold is seeking a skilled Metallurgical Technician to enhance operations at the Magino plant. Focus on conducting metallurgical tests and process oversight.
The role involves providing technical support and direction for all metallurgical processes within the mineral processing plant. As a Metallurgical Technician, you will prepare daily reports, manage lab procedures, and handle sampling for inventory. Your contributions will help optimize mineral recovery and uphold safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise metallurgical testing and operations
• Review and apply lab procedures in daily functions
• Conduct regular sample preparations for inventory checks
• Monitor the process samplers for precision
• Validate equipment measurements and conduct maintenance
Requirements:
• College diploma in metallurgy or equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience in process plants
• Minimum of 2 years in a metallurgy role
• Experience with gold processing techniques
• Knowledgeable about OHS requirements
